Is this for everyone is it just me, a PUG that I was in travelled to get to yak's bend but and from there tried some of the missions you acquire from the npcs and when I logged out/logged in (day after) I don't have yak's bend on my travel map. I really don't want to run all the way there. I'm pretty much a noob so forgive me if this is silly!

You didn't login as a different character did you? The map spots are character dependent.

Yaks bend does not show up on the map, you need to zoom in to find it.

Small towns will not appear on the map when you're zoomed out. You will have to zoom in on the region around Yak's bend to see it on your map.
